Avocado Ranch Dip

Instead of dealing with ripeness, seasonality, and dark spot issues with fresh avocados in some recipes, try our avocado powder as a substitute. Great flavor and convenience.

INGREDIENTS

2 cups

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Celery Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Parsley Flakes
  • 2 Teaspoons Basil Leaf
  • 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Mediterranean Oregano
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Dill Weed
  • 1 1/2 Cups Low Fat Sour Cream
  • 1/2 Cup Avocado Powder
  • Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon White Wine Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup Hemp Hearts
  • 3/4 Cup Water
  • Kosher Salt And Pepper

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a small bowl, whisk the avocado powder into the water to form a smooth paste. Add lemon juice and white wine vinegar. Stir well.
  2. Add the sour cream, mix well. Add hemp hearts, dried spices and herbs, and stir well until blended.
  3. Season to taste. Serve with fresh vegetables, salads, or as a dip for crackers.
